Cinnamon Sweet Potato Chili
I hope this recipe keeps you warm and full all winter long! Packed with veggies and fall flavors it don’t disappoint!
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground Italian sausage
2 small yams or sweet potatoes peels and dices into 1/2 inch cubes
1 onion peeled and diced
1 carton sliced mushrooms
1 package shredded carrots
1 TBSP cinnamon
1 TBSP brown sugar
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
4 cups beef broth
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Brown beef, sausage, onion and brown sugar over medium heat until meat is cooked
Add the remainder of the ingredients (add more water depending on how watery or thick you like your chili)
Cook on medium/high for 1 hour or simmer on low all afternoon!
